"Puppy Dog"

This cake was created for a neighbour's son who liked to play baseball and had a small black poodle type dog at the time.  You can see the detail in the grass I made and the sides of the cake.  The sides are iced to look like we have cut out a piece of earth.  Unfortunately the dog's detailed curly hair and limbs cannot be seen clearly here but he is spread out on his tummy  with his legs bunched under him.  You can see his nose but that is the only thing you can make out of this picture.  The little dog is supposed to be all tuckered out from playing ball. :)
