"Cake Assortment"

These cakes were a small part of a Christmas baking spree one year in which I baked 25 cakes and used them as Christmas gifts for my family and friends.

The front cake is a flat iced fruit cake with red poinsetta royal icing flowers that I also made.

The middle cake is a shaped fruit cake and I made the snowman and ski's out of royal icing.  The little girl wearing the fur hat and muff I made with a second smaller cake.

The back cake is a chocolate log roll filled with whipped cream and covered in chocolate icing.
