"ET" was drawn with the guidance of my 9 yr old son in March, 1984.  I had never seen the movie or any pictures of ET [except on the commercials] and only had a black outline of ET with no absolutley no detail.  With my son's guidance I filled ET in.  I would ask what shades and then colour him in and my son would tell me whether or not it was close to what he saw.  The highlights, etc and the scenery were my ideas. :)  I used 'Faber - Castell Polychromos' art pencils.
