This was my fifth attempt at painting a wooden plate.  I enjoyed painting the last lighthouse so much that I decided to create another one only this time I painted Cape Bonaventure's lighthouse in Newfoundland.  All I had was a tiny picture of the lighthouse and nothing else so I created the rest.  It was painted with acrylics and sealed with semi gloss varathane ~ it is about  8" x 8" and shown smaller than its actual size.
