This was my eighth attempt at painting a wooden plate and as it was my last plate I was torn between painting a stormy scene or a night scene ... so I combined the two ideas to create this one out of my imagination.  It was painted with acrylics and sealed with semi gloss varathane ~ it is about  8" x 8" and shown smaller than its actual size.
