This bear paw is a symbol of protection and as the bear is what I consider to be one of my power animals Eric made this especially for me.  Normally you would see something like this in a Powwow gathering where the North American Indian people adorn their traditional ceremonial clothing.  Of original design, it is 7" across, including the feathers which are 1 1/2" long and form a wreath around the bead work.  This entire 'crest' took hours of pain-staking detail work.  It has a leather back and leather  fastener.
